How many kilojoules are in that drink??

🍔🍟WEEKEND WEIGHT GAIN 🥂
♻️ Many people have a weight cycle that involves losing a bit of weight on weekdays only to gain it back over the weekend.
🏃🏼♀️A lot of healthy habits we have during the week, such as exercising and eating meals at a regular time disappear on the weekend, plus many people reward themselves with food and alcohol for making it through a tough week. Result? Overeating, unhealthy food choices and drinking more alcohol
🍺 How alcohol could cause weight gain: • It stops your body from burning fat. • It is high in kilojoules. • It leads to greater hunger and less satiety (the feeling of being full). 🍕Alcohol also impairs your ability to make wise food choices. Several studies have suggested that drinking alcohol before a meal can increase food intake later on.
🍣 If you are going out on the weekend, find a cute tapas bar and pick a few veggie plates to share, or go to a place where you can order something healthy and special, like a tuna carpaccio.
