Aim for Fat Loss Not Weight Loss

Fat loss is accomplished when we burn stored fat while preserving or building muscle at the same time πŸ’ͺ🏻
Fat loss doesn’t always result in a lower number on the scale but it will change the composition of your body, so you look toned and not skinny fat!!
Here are some tips to assist with fat loss:
1️⃣ Eat less kilojoules than your body needs - this is the only way to achieve fat loss!
2️⃣ Eat enough protein - to maintain muscle mass, recover from workouts and to keep you full and satisfied
3️⃣ Lift weights 2 - 5 times per week, if you don’t know where to start ask a qualified trainer
4️⃣ Sleep 7 - 9 hours per night to recover, rest and manage hunger levels

5️⃣ Include cardio, movement and 10k steps per day πŸ€ΈπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ§˜β€β™€οΈπŸŠπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸšΆπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ
We can assist you in your fat loss journey by determining what works well for you and what fits into your lifestyle, habits and preferences 😊

Take advantage of a fantastic, long term weight loss opportunity!!

Initial weight loss followed by  a nutritional and balanced maintenance plan

The initial rapid weight loss plan is developed, with your input,  to fit into your lifestyle. It is filled with healthy food that is nutritionally balanced to satisfy your appetite yet creates a kilojoule deficit which results in weight loss.

The focus is on low carbohydrate and a higher protein intake (as per CSIRO Protein Balance Program) which has been successful in  generating weight loss whilst minimising hunger.

Once the goal weight has been achieved, a maintenance plan is developed to assist in the transition from 'diet' to lifestyle eating; resulting in a long-term healthier lifestyle.

No more yoyo diets!

Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis

4-for-3 Consultation programme

One of the key strategies of a dietitian is to educate the client in regards to how to optimise their nutrition to assist in the prevention and management of chronic disease.

This includes the client understanding why they are making certain changes to their diet as well as how to make these changes in a way that fits into their lifestyle.

This often takes more than one consultation, and this 4-for-3 program is an economical way for clients to learn and develop the appropriate strategies. This greatly assists in achieving and sustaining goals.
